RESURRECTION OF A 1958 CADILLAC CONVERTIBLE...

You never know where your next car will pop up.... Back in the mid 1980's, my father took his '40 Buick on a photo shoot with a professional photographer who knew some things about old cars.  He told my dad about a guy who had some cars for sale..... It's a long story, but that's the short story of how I got my Cadillac.... And, by the way, THANKS DAD!

As found... That's a '54 Skylark next to the Caddy.
She comes out from under the woodwork... This photo is from around 1987.
  A two year process begins...
A little dirty, but a solid car...
Notice that the windshield has been taped up with cardboard to protect it during the process of "media blasting"...
The engine got a total rebuild... The Offenhauser speed equipment valve covers are not original, but they're a neat '50s accessory... I didn't care anything about having a 100 point car anyway...
  Done...
Photo taken at a Cadillac-LaSalle meet in the late '90's... She still looks this good...
