My father has been collecting old photos for
about the past 25 years. Here are some VERY early cars from his
archives, all conveniently thumbnailed for your viewing pleasure....

This is odd.... Although you can't see it
in the thumbnail, the full size image reveals a fire station crew with their
fire truck, and what appears to be a live BEAR.... |

Sometimes at car shows you'll see old cars with
flags on the fenders. Here's one such car, when nearly new, that
sports a flag on each fender. Can anyone ID this car?... |
1900 Locomobile... |
1900 Mobile Steamer... I had never heard
of this car until I found this photo.... |
1902 Haynes Apperson... |
1902 Rambler... |
1904 Cadillac... |
1904 Stevens Duryea... |
1905 Olds... |
1906 Mercedes... |
1908 Ford... |
1910 Sears... |
1911 Buick... |
1911 Simplex... |
1913 Premiere... |
Ok, so this one is newer than the rest
from this bunch, but I thought I'd include it, since it's by the same
photography company... This is a 1925 Detroit Electric... |
This is sort of odd... It looks like
they've taken the seat out of the Model T to photograph the baby... |
Are these Model Ts? |
This appears to be a Model T... |
So does this.... |
The caption on this photo is intriguing...
It says "Morning of the Fight".... |
Out West... |
Oh, this is neat... It's a big Packard Touring car,
but perhaps one of you can tell me what year... |
This appears to be some kind of repair
truck... |
Here's a little roadster behind a snow
bank... It almost looks like they were plowing snow even way back then.... |
This guy appears to have just come home
from WWI.... Or, maybe he was about to leave... |
A bunch of gals with their touring car.... |
More touring cars.... |
Strange wagon... Can anyone ID this??? |
