THE ANTIQUES WAREHOUSE 2005 OPEN HOUSE...

Regular readers may recognize the setting for this fabulous event, but this year there were a few surprises.  First off, the incredible "Bevo Boat Car", built in the 1930's by Anheuser-Busch, was the star attraction.  This 1931 Cadillac has been perfectly restored, and dazzles the senses with its details.  There were plenty of other interesting sights on display, including the amazing little Jaguar E-Type, which was radically modified by the owner-builder.  Basically, he started off with a basket case, and built a special racing version of the car complete with... Oh, well, never mind, just check out the photos... What an amazing car!  Oh, and that little blue King Midget was driven to the event by a young lady (17 years old), whose father restored it for her.  Where on earth did they ever find wide whites for that thing???
